I am also a solo traveller and quite new to this site. It really does need a spring clean ! The thread you refer to hasn't been used since 2017 and some of the other threads go back much further and are also obsolete. Much easier to join a group on Facebook which doesn't have so much old stuff to plough through.

Welcome Jasmine. Don't worry too much about the solo section.... there are loads of us but we go to the general meets as many of our friends are couples... if possible we park near each other so we can mix together and laugh ... NOT A DATING AGENCY by the way, and so feel safe. .. .. if you get chance to come along to a rally or meet you will be made really welcome and make many new friends, or acquaintances.

I like the sound of this response ! I may be solo but mixed company is far more interesting and fun. If people ask me if I am "alone" I say, "No, I am with myself" !!

I think the solo threads atrophied because its a very inclusive bunch ,you don't get treated any different just coz you are "partner challenged" to use the modern type idiom Just turn up and join in

Im not sure if motorhome fun has a Facebook page but it feels like a proper community and I quite like the different sections though I don’t dip into many of them.
I much prefer getting out and meeting the people.
