SIM CARDS for Data

EE question, I am an existing user of EE, sim in MIFI, Sim in IPAD and 2 phones.
The contract on the IPad Data Sim has run out this month I currently get 20 gb per month on this card. EE are offering via inter web 100gb per month for £18 for existing users but when I searich on my EE the best the6y offer to replace my old contract is 30gb for £25.
Before I request the 100gb sim a phone sim and Data sim are really just the same thing aren’t they ? I may have to take them to task but I need to be sure that they cannot con me with DAta or phone sims being different.

Hi I had a 40gb data sim with 3, but now have a unlimited phone sim in the mifi from 3 works the same

There are Data and phone sims.

BUT

Either will work. I’ve only ever used phone sims in my mifi unit. 3, and Vodafone.

For all you EE users. Did you know you that for £10 per month they let you use your phone, data, etc in most countries. USA Australia etc.
Fantastic value, saves all those other sims. We use this and pay for the months needed at the time.

Ok , so spoke to EE, now got 100gb of data per month on 24 month contract for £18 per month, I am happy with that. Whilst away I am using around 40gb within much video viewing so this will free us up to watch more or less anything we want. Result.

I am with o2 and pay £25 PCM for a years contract and have unlimited data.

3 are doing a years contract for £18 PCM unlimited data.

I have been using SMARTY whilst in Europe but they have now changed their terms and conditions and from 10 October they are now removing some European countries, specifically Switzerland which affects me, from their free inclusive data roaming . I'm now looking to change

Both 02 and 3 have very poor coverage in Scotland EE have the best that’s why I chose them. Forgot to mention free roaming abroad too not that I would use that.

Just an thought... I have a 3 sim in my phone £18 unlimited data etc , so pop this sim into my mifi when I need the extra signal .Recently been to Devils Bridge Wales... no tv signal hardly any signal on phone , but mifi was sufficient to watch netflix.

And don't forget that with EE you can gift data between other sims on your account.

So, I used to have a 100gb sim, plus a 5gb sim and I could "top up" data from the 100 to the 5 and vice versa quite easily.

Worth it if you need a second data sim for any reason
