SIM Card for iPhone Tracker

I intend to add another tracker to our MH by way of an old iPhone, concealed away, for which I can use ‘Find my Phone’. I’ve had a look on the web and cannot find what I am looking for, which is basically a PAYG SIM, without the need for a regular monthly payment. I seem to remember that other members have done something similar. Ideas welcome

I used GiffGaff in both my tracker and MiFi dongle.
Can't remember the prices but about the cheapest at the time plus the tracker required a 2G sim which were hard to find.

Skipper43 Won't the phone battery run out? I don't know if find my iPhone works with a dead phone.

Because I use Giff-Gaff PAYGO as my normal provider. 6quid per month. The tracker has a giff-gaff sim in it. Which means all the "check" calls each way are Free. (Giff-Gaff to Giff-Gaff) So the tracker sim still has nearly the same Value on it as when installed 4+ years ago. (It has only been "contacted" a very few times from other devices with different Providers). I "page" it approx every 2 to 3 weeks. That ensures the SIM stays live.

I use these as well, just top it up every few months or you can set it up to auto top up when there's less then a user defined amount of credit on it.

PAYG credit never expires providing its had some use every six months or so.
I've just let both mine expire after 2 years of none use except one regular 5 monthly text to keep them alive. .
You are warned if it's about to expire.

we have put / hid one of these in my sons work van. £20 to buy and £2 per month 24 months.

wired a simple usb charge, it can be geo set, tracked at a variety of interval or real time.

all via the app seams simple accurate and good value.

Yes....top up and leave......I send a text every month or so just to check it’s still working.....been fine in in the two years I’ve had it.
