Further report re the Swimming Baths Aire at Silves.
The lecky ain't arrived yet.

I have read on camper contact that the Aire by the castle is now closed. Anyone know about this? We are going up to Silves tomorrow and were planning on going to it although with 2 others to choose from its not a problem.

Oh dear when I mentioned freeloading in previous post I nearly got sent to Coventry for suggesting it existed.it's wild camping doncha know .???lol.

Forget last post, I see that the CC poster was in August, and the castle Aire is closed July & August, so that explains it.

The aire by the cemetery has now opened poss only from today according to my report from our neighbours return from the market next to there

The aire next to the continente has been and is open for stay or services

The new aire by the swimming pool / petrol station is closed for a few more days due to the late arrival from the UK of equipment for more electric to be installed on the pitches ... the wires are in place underground but the blue towers needed the fixing plates... also they have now improved the already fairly good internet.. but are also trying to improve the layout of the site so no large van shadows the smaller van ...

Services are turned off for the last 3 days hope to resume shortly
