Somewhat surprised that out of the thousands of members that no one can advise a newbee how I can get the best out of my first attempt to do a home F1 Grand Prix

Since 2016, caravans before that, folding Caravan, tents before that
Hi @Midland Nomads If you search F1 on the forum you will find a thread from last year. That will show you which Funsters were there last year. If you mention them in a post ( put an “@“ first like I have you above) they will get a notification. It might be a good place to start finding those that might be interested this year.

There were a few funsters on Woodlands last year, but more a case of arranging to try and find one another. It is so busy that trying to rally would be quite difficult, they sell out all the pitches for miles around.

Hi there
I was there last year.

Unfortunately it would be very hard to hold your own rally due to the size of the event. Everyone needs to arrive at the same time to be pitched together.

I can recommend woodlands campsite if you are thinking of going

im a not so newbie
Woodlands is a good site and close to the circuit.
Dont hang around on race day if you want a decent position as people que fairly early to get in to track side.
They do tend to squeeze you up on the pitches as well defiantly not like C&MC :)

Also be prepared to pay through the nose for anything you buy :)
