I am after some external silver screens for x250 ducato, & have found some for £50 on facebook, but realised there are two types
one with remis blind & ones without, anybody had both & can tell me difference.

The guy selling does not know which they, are but he does not have blinds(new to us van does).

or anybody selling some?.

Karl

Ones for the blinds allow for the thicker door tops where the internal blinds are mounted.

Buy decent ones would be my advise. Often come up on this site in the classified section with a massive saving.

Just bought a set from silver screen one phone call spoke to a very helpful chap he asked me loads of questions about what van year and model blinds or no blinds certainly knew is stuff. Placed the order and they arrived in two days. Ok they were £199.00 but that was it postage included first class service ?

Silver Screens also sell their seconds on ebay, if you phone them to order a set they actually tell you this, the current set we have are seconds and we have no idea why.

I didn't really want to buy new, hence looking for used,

We have a set of Taylor Made silver screen that have velcro on the pocket that goes over the top back edge of the cab doors so it can be used on either Remis or non Remis doors.

Thats a good idea i wonder if the silverscreen brand do that ?

Will have a look, but think may be more than i am looking to pay.

If buying new as well as Silver Screens, Taylormade & Rainbow Screens maybe also look at Minster Polar screens http://www.minsterproducts.co.uk/Polar.htm as well priced from £125 delivered (tried but no discount possible for mail order) but a bit cheaper again if collecting off stand at Shows. Not tried their Polar screens ourselves but know many happy Funster customers. We do have their full privacy mesh screens which are well priced & so far very good. They sell both via eBay too https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/gdye1970/m.html?item=283618800244&hash=item4208ff7274:g:uGcAAOSw~B1aOpID&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562

If your avatar is right and your van is an A class, that is a far more specialist fit.

Just changing to a low profile, hence the need for the screens, we had an the A class (y)
What A-class? We're just changing from a van to an a-class so our long length excellent (Remi-blind fit) screens, won't fit as they are and I was thinking of adapting them but if I can get some a-class ones instead then I'd sell ours on.

As for those for Remi blinds or not, we had some previously that weren't and its just a matter of making a small extension piece to go inside, basically an oblong with Velcro on each end to mate up to the existing screens.

I am in the process of selling a set on FB for the same price and had someone turn up who measured mine against his existing set and mine were shorter but he said his existing were too short for his x250. Not sure what the issue was as I though the x250 cab was the same on all models. Ours were fitted to an x250 with Remis Blinds as far as I can remember but and beginning to doubt myself now. I even thought if I come across an x250 with the Blinds I could cheekily ask the owner if I can try them on their van but I am thinking now at £50 is it worth the hassle.

Our A class was a Rapido, but screens have gone with van anyway.

its a shame you are not closer, i would have tried them to see if they fit , but new to us van not collecting till mid october.

I asked for the body seal to be changed & they quote 2 weeks to change it !!!!!!!.. sounds like a bit of BS to me

We have an A Class and got an insulated external screen cover from Minster. Great bit of kit. You can choose it in silver or black. Fits perfectly. We are very pleased with it and they are great to deal with.
