Minster had a deal with free delivery recently. Ours is an A class and they hadnt made one before for our model. We drove up to them and they made a template there and then and made screens to measure in a couple of hours.

Just bought a replacement from Minster Polar.
Great service good quality

Another vote for Taylormade silver screens, very good.👍

I have a brand new set of silver screens specifically for the ducato fitted just to try once for sale if interested, they were 199 at brownhills

An interesting thread, various recommendations but has anyone experience of more than one of the manufactures? We have a Polar screen by Minster and have been very pleased with it but in high winds it can flap around a bit - especially the unrestrained extension flap that covers the air air vent on our Ducato. We have held onto it from our previous Ducato and due to a slight change in the mirror design between the two, it's not quite a perfect fit, but it did flap a bit on that one too.
Are Silver Screens better? I've seen some that look more rigid which may help in high winds?

I bought the ducato specific screens for the latest shape ducato and they are real tight around the mirrors, no longer have the van as we were tempted by an a class so are now surplus to requirements if youre thinking of replacing youres they are available

In stronger winds I think many people remove their screen covers. Last year, in Cornwall, I had to remove ours due to strong winds. Others we doing the same at midnight, those that didn’t suffered lost or damage to their screen covers.

Must have been various makes of covers as there were a lot of vans on the site. I treat the screen cover like our awning, if high winds are predicted I put it safely away.👍

PM'd you.

We've had both Taylor Made and Silver Screens over the years. IMO both very good and didn't flap about in high winds - including a 100+ mph winds in France a couple of years ago.

It's never occurred to me to remove my Silver Screen in wind. I've never even had to use the storm strap loops on it. Mine seems rock solid.

That was the only time I’ve had to get out to remove it. Van was shaking and we were parked head into wind.

It does fit snuggly and I’m very happy with it.👍

The following day / night was forecast for even stronger winds, so it was only the second time we’ve cut and run home due to weather.😉

You can tighten or loosen the fit by undoing the velcro and repositioning it

Ours definitely seems to have grown a little after several stormy nights. the tightness of the fit at the back and bottom side edges isn't what it used to be.

Still a snug fit on ours, but the wind does do a bit of stretching. 👍
