Sika thickness.

Finally got my plan together for solar panel set up ( famous last words ) but I am reading conflicting comments on the thickness of adhesive when glueing panel and gland to roof. Answers not on a post card as I'm fixing this weekend

I put a self tapper into the underside of the bracket as a spacer allowing 3-4 mm of Sika.

I believe you can use bits of cocktail sticks as spacers.

Two replies at 2mm; one at 3/4 but almost everything I've read says 6 mm..... hence my confusion!?!
