Many years ago we had a “windstopper “ end panel for a Fiamma wind out awning.

It was best described as a plastic fine mesh and stopped a lot of the direct sun while allowing us to see through it.

We have been trying to buy one again but all we can find are end panels with pvc sheet and clear plastic windows. These obviously let the sun through.

Does anyone know of a supplier for what I have (tried to) describe?

Do you mean LIlypad Leisure who make wind blocker shades?

Frankly, I don’t know, but I will google them to see.

Many thanks for trying to help.(y)

Edit

Yes. Having googled it, although not the same it will certainly do the job.

Thanks again.

I may well be interested, but only in the side panel.

I will need to measure our awning, when extended to see if the “standard” fit will be OK. We also need to check if the panel will fit both ends.

As the weather forecast for tomorrow is gales in our area :eek:it may take a couple of days!

I will PM you when we have the details.

Thanks for the reply!(y)

I think I have what you are talking about, and it’s made by fammia. Just a mesh end panel, and a pole that can be used on one or the other end of the awning.

That sounds like what we had.

Is there any identifying mark on it that I could use to “google”, please?

I will dig it out tomorrow, I also have the instructions so there might be a part number.

@maison they come in 4 sizes. It depends on your projection, starts at 2 m. Use the drop down for the choices. Depends on the way it connects to the awning. I understood that they could be interchangeable, but do think going to your local stockist, they’d give you the answer you require.
