I have a Shuffle pump (Model 2095-204-413) that is about four years old.

It is allowing water to seep back through the pump, which I assume is because of some sort of non-return valve leaking.

Is this likely to be the kit I need?

This appears to be the pump diaphragms - does this include some sort of non-return valve?

I saw something elsewhere that suggested this might have something to do with the built-in pressure switch.

Thanks in advance for any help.

hi mine had a check valve in it that had stuck if you push it it should spring back ,,not sure if that's your problem but it was one of mine ,,good luck

Thank you for the info - that makes it clearer. I have found a kit for this so will investigate when I get it

Each of the three diaphragm valves IS the seal.
Sounds like you have a bit of grit under one or more of the three valves.

Hi, I had mine starting to run on after use or start when no taps open, I took it out and inspected the diaphragms and found minute black bits in them, give them a clean and its been fine since, and as has been said they are the non return valves

I have just replaced our Shurflo Trail King 7 pump, and was looking at a valve seal repair kit, to repair the old pump and keep as a spare, however, for just a few quid more, I can by a completely new pump rather than faff about fitting the repair kit.........with no guarantee that the problem will be solved.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

No obvious problems when I opened up my pump, but I had obtained this kit:

https://www.midlandchandlers.co.uk/products/shurflo-2095-2088-check-valve-94-237-00-509963

And replaced all items and now it works fine!

I suspect the rubber of the sealing pad had hardened with time, though the pump is only 4 years old.

ho much was the kit? ,,i just had new pump today £52 delivered

£19.73 including postage.
