To any newbies thinking of dipping their toes in the world of rallying this one would be perfect . Last year we went to this event and we were quite nervous ,we needn't have been . The people were lovely and friendly and welcoming. The fireworks spectacular with our own private viewing balcony and the disco after was brilliant too ! Short walk along the river in the daytime to Shrewsbury town centre plenty to see and do . You won't regret it I'm sure !

But to the best of my knowledge Shrewsbury has a micro climate that somehow makes it a rival to St Tropez. In the penthouses of Monte Carlo the debate is forever "Shall we lunch in St Tropez or Shrewsbury, dahhhhling ?". "Oh Shrewsbury, dahhhhhling, I hear St Trop is full of National Lottery winners right now".

Good company lovely warm room for all the entertainment

OK spoke to Jan today , we are OK untill the end of July before she would need to know that we have the definite 70VIP'S she would then require a £10deposit non refundable unless someone takes your place. .

Ps please remember we are getting the room to meet in for free for the duration of our stay so it's real bargain especially for those winter days and nights.

Don't panic Mrs Mainwaring, folk haven't come out of hibernation yet. It's a very late spring. Not far off May and still no full leaves on the trees. At this rate Nov will be mid summer.
