Thanks to all for helping out others.

We are set up in the room. John @lunarman and Frank @franknjan have done a Stirling job of getting people parked up while I been playing, correction, setting up all the gear in the room. Kate @Ambilkate has kindly left up the decorations saving us the hassle. So she is here in spirit. Thanks Kate and hope things have gone as well as expected for you.

In the room tonight from about now. Bring your own mugs. Tea and coffee provided.

Bill,

You should avoid the centre of town if possible. Approach from the North on the A528 from battlefields.

If do Come via the M54/A5 at the end of the A5 follow the A49 North at the 2nd roundabout take the 2nd exit to the A 528.

If you come south on the A49 take the 4th exit off the Battlefields roundabout.

Follw the signs the the showground .

The advise to enter via battlefield and A528 is well worth heeding.
Please take care if following satnav into the showground.
Its not so bad coming in although there are streets in Shrewsbury where you do not want to venture in a large vehicle. But when leaving please be careful off the LOW BRIDGE if you turn right. It states 11ft which is correct but only if you follow the correct markings as many drivers have found out to their cost. Its not immediately apparent but the road rises and the arch is much lower on the right hand side.

Yes despite all the signs its still a fairly regular occurrence because too many people myopically follow satnavs. The lucky ones notice that the ceiling appears to be coming down and stop before serious damage occurs, but it still causes absolute chaos trying to reverse them out. The biggest problem is when artics get down there ( no comments about nationalities please) as there is no room to turn around and the oncoming street is one way towards them.

I was sitting under that bridge last night waiting for the lights to change and studying the various scape marks. Some are pretty deep and must have caused a lot of damage to the vehicle involved.
