Depends on how you rate your chances of not falling off the paddle board and will the rain make much difference

It will be a doddle it's nice flat water. Tip don't use Al's "Red" board that is very unstable compared to mine.

I was going to donate on the just giving page for Colin and Sandras Breast Cancer charity swim but as JG take a % I thought it was easier to just walk across the field when it stops raining, they are in the Carthago with the canoes on a trailer not far away from us

The Crown in coleham has 2 riverside terraces and under much better management now. By greyfriars footbridge.

I was going to donate on the just giving page for Colin and Sandras Breast Cancer charity swim but as JG take a % I thought it was easier to just walk across the field when it stops raining, they are in the Carthago with the canoes on a trailer not far away from us

Big Thanks to funflair and Jen for organising the rally, we had a great time but unfortunately left a bit early to get the new pooch settled in at home before we go back to work in a few days. I was gutted I didn’t get all my electrical stuff together in time to keep Lenny HB busy for a few days but was nice to meet him anyway! Met a few new funsters this weekend and saw some we hadn’t seen for a while Anyway here are some pictures from yesterday’s messing on the river!

And a big thanks to Ukbandit for putting the football on

And lastly thanks for the warm welcome for new pooch Dolly

Fridge winter covers. Free if anyone can use them and they fit your fridge one has a turnbuckle missing but you can get off eBay. No idea fridge model but was in my 2012 Autotrail ( not large fridge freezer)

Could I have these Tonka. We lost ours in France somewhere. I'm sure they will fit.

Just a reminder for all the Canoe/kayak trip people that the mini bus will pick us up 9:45 from our parking area, we will need masks in the bus and drinks picnic etc for the trip, we will be warm on the paddle but you might want a wind proof for the lunch stop (it might even rain) we will arrive back at our campsite sometime in the afternoon, depending

The canoe hire people have waterproof barrels for stowing stuff in the boats.

We will not find a cafe/pub or toilet on the way so be prepared

If anyone fancies filling in at the last minute there is a place going spare that is already paid for so just turn up in the morning and tell me.
