Assistance / lift needed down to south west

Just in case anyone can help.
A friend has bought a motorhome from family down in Taunton, Somerset.
I am planning to collect it and deliver to them in Spain.

The pick up date will be 8 / 9th July.
If any Funsters are attending Shrewbury and then heading down the M5 on either Monday or Tuesday and I can scrounge a lift that would be FANTASTIC !!

I am in Cannock near JN11 on the M6 so on the motorway route going down and could meet somewhere nearby to suit.

Fingers crossed, if not I can book the train and sit with all those weirdo's...

I'll be booking us in after that **$££! gearbox is in and it looks like its going to get us there.

Paid £51 for the Stratford show and didn't make it. However spoke to Stone and providing we send our tickets back they are happy to refund our money or credit us. So that is a result - and hopefully good information for anyone else who finds themselves in this situation in the future. :thumb:

However I wouldn't like to guarantee Warners would do the same

Is there a form to fill in? apparently the ticket is for General Camping, but we will - of course - want to camp with the funsters if that is possible.

Just ring event developments and ask...they are an accommodating lot and will most likely say yes....but don't just leave it till arrival.

Don't even think about it with Warmers shows...they WILL say no. :Angry:

Mike and I will be erecting our new Kampa airframe awning on Friday afternoon at Shrewsbury. To celebrate this event, we invite all to partake of Pimms with nibbles. From 4.30 p.m. Please bring a glass and chair (and anything else you might want to drink).

Only we will only be leaving Nantwich at 3-15 on the Friday and the journey is about an hour.
Once there we may need to cook so if we haven't time we will be needing to order a pizza for the Erection Inspection. :thumb:

As professional Caravan Club Awning Erection judges we will be happy to offer marks out of 10 for both presentation and effort as well as marital differences during the erection process.

If we are late, it may be necessary to get a funster to video the event prior to our arrival if you require marks for your erection technique.
