Even though I have an adjustable shower head which makes the hot water last a lot longer, I have found the very, very best way to make the hot water go even further is by not wasting it showering...

If God had wanted us to shower all the time he wouldn't have given us deodorant sprays and under arm roll on thingies...

We bought one of the Eco Water energy shower heads at a show a couple of years ago.. It was about £15 and I was not really a believer ..
But boy ! It is amazing.. I have NEVER run out of hot water since..

Just found them for sale on Amazon for £12.99

My water gets hotter on gas than on electricity. I turn on both prior to taking a shower.

we have a Truma C6002EH and while I find it ok to have a shower as I turn it off between soaping and rinsing but Mrs bu'ckett finds it goes cold on her, now she does not turn off but it does seem to go cold quickly.... I have it on the hottest setting before hand and it is very hot so it is working ok....

So what's the awnser..? A smaller shower head..?

Um, first rule of camping/caravanning/motorhoming. Water is a finite resource, hot water doubly so! Leaving the water on between rinses is madness.

Water on.
Wet body/hair/remaining hair.
Water off.
Apply soap/shampoo.
Massage
Water on.
Rinse.
Water off.
Vacate shower.

It's not rocket science. You just can't shower like you do at home.

Vacate shower
- or if desperate -
small amount of water in basin
wet & soap body using a flannel (or hand)
rinse with clean flannel
- if washing hair, use jug or mug over the sink to wet & shower head to rinse

empty grey waste beforehand, put a bucket under during washing, you'd be amazed how little you can manage with
of course this wouldn't suit those who want the same facilities in the moho as they have at home; I find it fun!
