Hi all,

If you have an RD Plastics moulded sink and pedestal in your AT, have you ever taken it out to gain access to pipework. I loosened the fixing screws in the upstand of the sink on ours but the unit would not budge. Does anyone know how it's fixed?

It's probably bedded down on somthing sticky like sillicone, people have been known to have to destroy a shower tray to get it out. You can get them repaired in situ.
The sink pedistal has probably been bonded in a similar way.

sink repair

I have just done this job on our MH. Once you have taken the screws out you have to lift it up10/15 mm so it unclips from the bottom then it should come away easy.
I was surprised at how easy it was.
Good luck

Thanks for that. I guess what I haven't done is what Diabalo said (thanks also D) and released it from the goo. Sorry for delayed response but been away from a connection for a bit.
