Just been looking back at my Google maps timeline, amazing what it knows, this is mine ,what's yours like?

I see you were at rovanimie football stadium ? Was that to watch Aberdeen ? I came across that match ambling thru Scandinavia bizarre I saw the match also .

Isn't it a brilliant thing, 10 years ago you would never of dreamed of such a thing.
Ours is severely lacking in eastern France which we were planning on filling up when covid struck.

Yes it was. I was in Estonia when we were drawn against rovaniemi, saw it was only about a 1200 mile round trip with ferry so headed up for the match. Great memories.

Depends when you signed up for a Google account. But I don't think any go back more than about five years.

Mine’s a bit sporadic. I probably have the app/account set to “use location only when app in use”

For example, the Houston pin was a stop over coming back from Costa Rica Which is totally missing from the Timeline.

Google Maps. Click on your initial next to the microphone icon, then timeline.

For security reasons I turned Timeline off, I don’t trust anyone with information like that so mines blank.

This is what I get when I click on my initial after opening Maps..........no microphone icon.

When I click on my 'N' initial I get........

When I click on 'Manage your Google account', then 'Manage account settings' I get.........

Still no microphone so then what do I do...?

Mines like this when you open maps but this is on my phone, don't use computers anymore so can't say.

Don't know then.. There's probably nothing much to see anyway if it's a computer. The good thing about pocket computers is you take them everywhere.

Thanks, yep tried that but just get a long drop-down list of other apps: Play, Drive, You Tube, Calendar, News, Chat, Translate.........
I'm using a laptop (W10) which doesn't go anywhere and don't have an iPhone so if the tracking is via a Smart phone maybe that's evidently why it hasn't 'seen' me go anywhere, (yep, I'm a plonker! ).
