Should this be in my pigtail?

Morning all. Away from the van at the minute, swapping out a bottle.

Should the large rubber insert in the middle of the picture still be on my pigtail?

I would say almost certainly yes, is the pigtail one with a handwheel for tightening rather than a nut that needs a spanner.

You can get the spare rubber washers off eBay etc. Worth keeping a few in the van as I have read a few times where they have come off and been lost.
