Hi

Well I am finally getting through all the stuff that came with my MH it’s only taken me 6 month. I found some paper work on the alarm system and got me thinking that this could be a tracker system as it had some Vodafone stuff. When I got the MH I asked the salesman about the system so I could tell my Insurance what type of alarm I had and I am sure I was told it was cat 3. So I rang the help desk at cobra now Vodafone to ask about the system gave them my reg and she told me it was a CobraTrak 5, which is a category 5 Thatcham approved device.

To have it activated, the subscription choices are below

- £217 for one year

- £585 for three year

So my question is what would you expect to pay for a tracker subscription?

question to ask yourself is "would you really want it back if it was stolen "

Wow seems expensive hope it's got lots of tools and bells and whistles. Gonna stick with my Non Starter and Metatrak app installed by Vanbitz £50 per year. Okay not a true tracker but it does the job and enables me to locate my vehicle and disable it
Excellent value for money imho. Combined with the Growler. It will do me:)

Strikeback / Growler is a 2 -1 alarm
Non Starter is not recognised as thatcham unfortunately.
Really depends on value of your vehicle, what your insurers require. What you can afford / deem needed.
