Good idea, but how many hauliers are going to stump up the cash to have that installed retrospectively ?

If you're stuck behind one in stationary traffic could you ask them to put a movie on?

If it doesn't make money for the hauliers, it won't be fitted. Great for Samsung as it's advertising.....

Bound to get someone run into the back of you when you braked for anything as they would be watching the television in front.

an interesting concept but do see a problem of people watching the film rather than the truck

    Hi.
In the good old days of Log books and hardly any traffic,a,"Wave on/Overtake hand signal" during the day,and a couple of flashes of the headlights at night, meant the lad behind could come by, you could rely on these signals. Traffic has increased/speeded up,so you could be now closing with each other at 120 mph.
This is a super idea, but like many more, will fall by the wayside.Example,an engineer designed a simple spring device that stopped the wheel veering off course in the event of a Blow out,it added weight of course, binned......... i had a fiendishly clever plan years ago, design a safe as possible lorry,THEN say what weight it can haul, rather than set a weight,THEN design the lightest lorry to carry it.Once had a Volvo FL10 with Don Burr trailer, empty on the weigh bridge, low on fuel and tared at 12.10 tonnes.W/bridge man asked if i was on the bridge properly.
