Hi to you all we have a 2005 Rapido 7086f Fiat Ducato 2.8 This Question as probably been covered before but not been able to find on our blog
Found a leak on the drivers side shock absorber so going to replace both shockers The question is which if any are the best units to buy or even upgrade to better one's What do all you tech bods who have do this think Thanks

If it's an A class, you might want to use uprated springs while your at it to give it a 5/6 cm lift. New top mounts as well.
Can't help on parts, Dave Newall did mine and it was a big improvement on ride and handling.
There should be loads of posts on it if you do a search

1 in 5 of new passenger vehicles are factory-equipped with Monroe technology.

More than 8.5 million shock absorbers are produced each month for both Original Equipment and Aftermarket.

adequate but nothing special probably sums it up

Monroes will be same as OEM for a fiat ducato. I would upgrade to Goldschmidt for the front. But that is shocks and springs, whole strut. A cheaper solution is to stick with standard shocks and think to upgrade later

Yes that is my quandary at my age of 80 plus I can't see us using Motorhome more than 3/4 years

In my experience unless you are in a performance vehicle on the track etc you are unlikely to notice much difference between shocks in a commercial chassis vehicle.

I just put on whatever the garage supplies these days.

The only change I make with respect to suspension is putting on heavy duty rear springs. Shocks I don't worry about the brand too much.

That is just my opinion though.

Yes I think I will have to put upgrade springs on the rear to cope with the little Ladies shoes and dresses
