Rally Shepton Motorhome Show (1 Viewer)

We have 65 vans going to Shepton.

These Funsters have filled the form in, if you are coming and are not on the list please do fill the form. Its too late book and rally now but if you can make the show, you can still book in to general camping and you'll be more than welcome to wander over and see us in the evening or for breakfast on Sunday.

IMPORTANT RALLY INFORMATION this particular weekend is going to be very warm and sunny so pack shorts and sunscreen. We also have a heated marquee in the unlikely event of a chill setting-in in the evenings.

Yes you are too late to be parked with us, I doubt they'll park you too far away though and you can look us up once there

Unfortunately I won't be joining you - had a breakdown on the way to Newark on Friday and it would seem that this could be terminal - possibly the water pump but this on top of the reconditioned gear box, all electrics replaced plus a new radiator is just one thing too many for me, financially that is, but even if I could afford the repair, don't know if I will have any confidence anymore in driving
Can anyone give me any advice please on selling the van, and also replacing it with perhaps something smaller

Sorry to hear you are having so much bad luck with your van @Fairy Lights... it is possible to advertise it on here or maybe it would be better to start a new thread regarding getting some more opinions on the best way to proceed. Good luck

Hi Pauline, thought I had posted yesterday but it doesn't seem to have appeared. You like the van, you haven't had it long and have already invested lots in its repairs. I don't reckon the water pump will be very expensive, so why throw away all your investment to buy another (unknown?) van. I always think better the devil you know... and I have had several problems with my van!! Best regards Catherine

So sorry but we can't make Shepton due to family illness. We can offer our 2 tickets to someone who can attend - also got 2 tickets for the main entertainment.
Also, we were booked in with the funsters - dont know whether someone else can take our place?

Take your wellies - I'm taking mine but am in general camping with some non-"Fun" friends. Perhaps will have to buy some of those boards or get a tow out!

I live in Somerset, we had very heavy rain for most of the day on Sunday but this week has been mainly dry so I don't think the ground should be too bad, the forecast doesn't look good for the weekend though.
