Shelta Pod

Thinking about one of these for our PVC shelta pod
No need for a big awning but need a bit more space at times.

Anybody got one and want to pass on their thoughts?
Interesting concept, but a cheap dome tent with a fully zipped front doorflap would do the same with a means off attaching to a VW awning rail...

Some discussion about this awning here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...van-awning-just-launched.136855/#post-2876827
It is very cleverly designed as it evolved & improved with feedback from members on their Facebook group - I've followed it from the start & was one of the many who made suggestions that were adopted. We haven't tried one but it has lots of fans. The down sides would be as mentioned above the price point for the covered area it gives but depends on how big an area you want & how much space you have to store something like a Quest screen house as a larger alternative. If you do buy a SheltaPod then please post your feedback as it would be helpful to other members considering this.

They look very expensive! Have you thought about a quest pop up?
Agree with expensive but have borrowed a Quest pop up and found it awful, more trouble than it was worth.

I like the idea of this and it will attach to our Ducato awning via a Kador strip which we already have from our last blow up awning which was on a much bigger van.
