AutoGas is pulling out of Shell sites this year that's a bit of a pain !

Autogas Limited, a joint venture between Shell and Calor is currently the leading supplier of automotive LPG to UK forecourts, supplying over 150 Shell branded and other independent service stations throughout the country. Following a business review by the Autogas board, the decision has been taken to begin the decommissioning process of its LPG refuelling network scheduled to take place within the next 6 months. This will also mark the end of this joint venture between Shell and Calor.

My local Shell also removed the LPG pump and I used FillLPG. I phoned 5 listed (non Shell) garages a month ago. One didn't answer the phone, one said they didn't now have a pump, two said they'd never had a pump (only exchange cylinders) and one was a goer.
I informed FILLLPG.

it would appear ALL Shell Autogas sites are being de commissioned.

Well the Autogas link does announce the decommissioning of ALL shell pumps so the hunt is on for suitable outlets!

I’m in the Cotswolds at the moment and about to run out of gas. Filllpg won’t load properly on my iPad and mylpg has given 2 sites that I have checked and they aren’t selling it.
If anyone with an android device could find me anywhere between Moreton-in-Marsh and Tewkesbury for a refill I would be grateful.

Some Shell sites will remain. Those that are supplied by Flogas not Autogas. Lucky for me the Shell a mile from home is Flogas.

As well as Strensham, Waitrose shell, Cheltenham listed as not being removed until 28 September. GL50 3QW. Bit further south than you wanted though.

Aly, there's one a couple of miles from Moreton. Turn right out of the site and it's on the A44.
Sri Balaj Service Station. GL56 9AJ.
Been on street view and can't see the pump but it's on the price board outside at 69.9p.

Yes, I missed that one, it’s on mylpg and says last confirmed 30 july 2020. GL56 9AJ

Thanks for the info re Sri Balaj but we went there yesterday and the whole garage appeared to be closed. The Eastern European’s were operating a car wash but that was all the action around the site!

It said that there were 8 confirmations only a week ago so that's odd. Mind you I thought the confirmed price a bit high for current prices elsewhere.
I’ll report that it is a car wash.

I think the false confirmations come from the app. The first question is the last price followed by a big YES button. There is not a NO button so you have to press YES and then it comes up confirmed price. Skip step is right at the bottom.

A bit late for you at the moment,but you can apply for a Flogas "Key system " at a refundable cost of £10.
I have had one for 10 years now,and its perfect.
It was originally run by Countrywide stores,but taken over by Flogas when countrywide went bust.
Once you have set up your account and you have your key,you just go and get gas whenever it suits you as they are unmanned,I.e go and get £2 worth at 2am if you fancy!
You get a map showing you where the sites are,old countrywide stores,industrial estates etc etc. A bit like finding Aires really.

Checkout Flogas website its all there.

Prices are competitive aswell

Nothing to loose as you can always cancel it and get your £10 back
