just had the van MOT'd .. sailed through with no advisories

I have just ordered some new tyres for the rear though, as although they have enough meat on them to do another 32000 miles, they are JUST starting to crack a little

I actually pointed it out to the MOT guy and after much pushing and shoving and using a pointed stick assured me they are still perfectly ok.. When I told him I am gonna replace them anyway, he asked if he could have the old ones for his van !::bigsmile:

On the way home I popped in to my tyre man and got his opinion

More bloody money than sense you John.. They are perfect...

BUT... Given the sort of miles we cover and where we go, the peace of mind a £140 will bring is money well spent to me

Oh.. he did make one comment about emissions

Very clean running engine indeed..

I reckon the WOW! tuning remap was a very worthwhile investment ( esp considering the MPG we achieved this summer.. close on 27mpg.. It used to return 21 to 22 before we had it done two years ago )

Congratulations on the MOT success. It's a great feeling

Quick question. What is a tuning remap, and is it worth getting one on a two year old MH?

There are lots of remap options, we went for an economy one .. tried a few and ended up sticking with WOW! tuning as they gave the best service AND it worked great

Our van was 2 years old when we had it done...

I took it over to Brandon to R H Turner ( 01842 810 287, Unit 1, Brandon Business Centre, Putney Close, Brandon, Suffolk 1P27 OPA )

I could have taken it virtually any day and any time.. Nice people and no dramas.. Decent MOT too.. Watched em work their way round the van and they checked everything I would have done......
