I have transferred this post from RVOC on behalf of Davey Boy who is organising this meet - not to be confused with Sundowners rally at the same venue (Long Marston) which we hope to hold later in the year - details to follow.

25/26/27th may is yanks weekend, 3 days of high octane drag racing.

YANKS WEEKEND ADMISSION PRICES

Full weekend Gate £35.00 per person - Advance £30.00 - NASC Members £30 on a full three day ticket


so thats £30 per person in advance for 3 days racing, stopping over fri,sat and sunday night.

all overnight camping is free with a weekend ticket.

after the event is over further nights will be £10 per unit (rv.motorhome or caravan)

we have use of the clubhouse after the event is over although the leccy will be off.

for those who have never been to the racetrack before.
there are toilets and showers on site, but remember this is a racetrack
there are plenty of water points and an elsan dump, no hook ups.
dogs are allowed but when the racing is on they must be kept at the camping fields. no dogs allowed in the pits or at the trackside.

parking for the event will be a case of turn up and select a spot , grassed areas. after the race event is over we can make use of all the hard standing the pits offerLink Removed

long marston airfield is just a 5 minute drive from the beautifull stratford on avon.

we have all been invited along, the more the merrier, mhf too.

marshalls will not be needed during the racing event, but if anyone wants to volunteer to be a marshall after the racing is over then thats fine.

you can turn up any day you want and leave anytime between the dates given and just pay for what days you stay.

*All tickets are non-refundable.
*All major Credit Cards accepted.
*Children under 16 free when accompanied by an adult.

for campers staying on site after the event monies for the extra days only will be collected on site by shakespeare staff at £10 per unit per night

20 plus another 12years tugging/small campers
We go every year ,what a fantastic weekend,we will be there unless something drastic happens to stop us.can also recommend the Nsra hot rod drags and the nostalgia drags all 3 weekends are well worth attending,we will be at all of them:thumb:

I hope they have different classes, I wouldn't want to put our 2l diesel up against a petrol V10.

I'm a definite no because I'm racing at York Raceway the same weekend! (Though not in the same league as some of the great cars at Shakey!)

Shame, really, as it'll be a good one!!
