Looks like fasthosts had a major outage as well.

Isn't that the company that hosts the Fun server? Or is Fasthosts just the registrar?

Our data is safe as it is spread over three servers. Yes we have a server with fasthosts but but their problems yesterday were with virtual servers, rather than dedicated, that said, in all their rushing around maybe someone tripped over a lead and pulled our plug out

It seems our outage was caused by a failing network card, we'll see if it falls over again soon enough
