Sergent charging issue

Hi all,
My sergent system has started changing from leisure to vehicle without prompting.
I noticed this recently then i manually switch back over to leisure.
Anyone had this issue?

Is it not the smart charging operating as it should to keep both batteries charged up from the solar/charger ?

I have never seen it do this in the 4 years i have had the motorhome. If this is working correctly then great, no issues.

If it is the smart charging in operation it will charge the starter battery for about 4 x hours and then revert back to charging the leisure battery,

If it keeps going over to the starter battery after its initial charge from the smart system it may be that the starter battery is not holding its charge and needs to be tested.

My Sargent unit was replaced last week ec200 psu 2007
The controller (in my case) above the door started playing up ie would not charge engine battery on hookup,then when moving would not charge leisure battery and other things. And the psu units fan made loads of noise at night, then is packed up. So replaced the lot at Apuljacks This is our first weekend away since fitted, touch wood all good but with a lighter pocket.
you can try resetting the control panel just remove lead wait a minute or two and replace. May work. Info on line if you want to try that. Good luck

For the unit I mentioned fitted just short of 550. Knowing what I know now easy to fit yourself save fitting charge . If you are prepared to wait for your unit, because all units are on exchange policy. Sargents would be cheaper. Both companies very helpful though.
