I have been using TeamViewer to sort out some issues with my dad's computer, its a good little package .

That made me thnk that MHFunsters could use this to help each other out, we have a lot of experts on here and most have been house trained.

Would it be a good idea?

It's been a while since I've done it but it used to be able to be done via Windows, using Instant Messenger - no need to buy a package.

It's what I use with my 84 year old Mum. Works a treat all she has to do is make sure that her computer is powered on and I can do the rest.
