Can anyone recommend sites in Scotland or England that have really easy access to a beach or harbour? My husband is a keen sea fisherman but due to advancing years can't walk far or scramble down cliffs! Sites with loos and EHU would be preferable.

White House Beach, Kessingland (CC): one section is "countryside" but the other has direct views across the beach and an easy walk out onto the prom. It is very popular with fisherfolk BUT the beach is stony (albeit with old conveyor belts covering much of the walk to the shoreline) and probably 100m from pitch to sea.

There are also a couple of pubs & restaurants plus a bus-stop just 100m along the prom.

A very relaxing place to go - Gordon

Doesn't this type of thread make you feel good about being a "Funster"..... So many options in such a short space of time. Take a bow everyone, well done.
