A short walk to the beach this site would by many be regarded as expensive, especially if booking just for two people however for families and large groups it is great.

There is a ramp for launching boats into the sea too. This is free of charge to Searles guests.

Facilities include

Indoor pool with Jacuzzi, outdoor pool with slide, Sauna and gym
Health and Beauty Salon
Golf course and golf driving range
Fishing
Daytime and evening entertainment programme with prizes of a free holiday for some competitions during the summer holidays
Fish and chip shop and restaurants
close to Tescos supermarket
A landtrain that for a small charge most days takes you into hunstanton and down to the lighthouse

A maximum of two dogs are allowed and there is a specified dog walking area on site certain breeds not permitted)

For couples, there are a few cheaper, small campsites out on the coast road, East of Hunstanton. In the villages, there are plenty of quality restaurants that generally cater for the holiday home owners in the area, all very posh!

The locals call the second home owners f****ing trippers!:ROFLMAO:

You can get to Hunny early for a pole position on the cliff top road for a great view and close proximity for the beach.

There is a local rumour that parking on the cliff top will become pay and display. So use it while you can folks!
Call me a skeptic, but I wonder if they will only mark out car-length bays along the road?

I went to Searles quite recently Gail:thumb:

Swimming pool could do with a revamp but I enjoyed the place.

Carved up the pitch parking the van though:Blush:

The infamous Hunstanton Pitch Rutter is revealed!!!!

I wondered why Searles had an above-inflation price increase this year!:ROFLMAO:

We actually tried the Park Resorts site last year and left after one day...the parking was so close I could lean out of my OS rear window and touch the tent next door....ridiculous..

Searles was the first site we ever went to in our MH and loved it..

Here you go :)

Broken Link Removed

Now this is a favourite of ours , lovely walks through the dunes to the beach and miles out when the tide is out.
Nice shops and chippies and pubs in Wells and the atmosphere of a real small fishing harbour :thumb:

It's still free to park on the cliff top road! I parked up there Sunday for a few hours. No marked out bays yet either.

We love sunny hunny for a weekend break.
Parking along cliff top can be busy, you need to get there early.
We would be happy to pay and use the large grass car park near the lighthouse, but it has a height barrier, huge parking area always lots of space.
There is also Motorhome parking spaces at the pay and display near Tesco OK but no views.

The beach is close, if the sea was clear instead of the muddy, norfolk would match devon and cornwall any day of the week, having spent my teenage years in hunstanton I have fond memories of searlles and the girls who went there on holiday.
