Not via postcode but the town name search is very accurate.

Love Search For Sites and it’s pretty much the only one I use.
Can keep all your favourite sites on lists and if you bring the map up you can see you saved sites on it also.

Same here, also have park4night but soon found out search for sites was so much better

As PaulC70 says,place names if you subscribe you can download them to your sat nav,every location has number,put it in and off you go,much easier than co ordinates,also you can put it on a tablet to use off line.

I jusy used Bishops Stortford as the town having looked on Google Maps, and it came up with several, one of which is Stone House Farm in Little Hadham.

Something still unclear, does the search improve for subscribers?

In my example, could a subscriber enter “little hadham” or is Bishop’s Stortford the most local town?

With Park4Night free you do get all the location but you don't have the ability to search out each site's details. Whether it has water / free/ star rating etc. Definitely worth the 10€

Little Hadham is a very small village, and BS is the nearest town. The site above in Little Hadham would be ideal for the festival. There are a few other options but all a distance away.

You can also copy the coordinates if you want to use other apps.

I use S4S but until this question came up I didn't realise that you could search using the first portion of a UK post code. I've no idea if there is a worthwhile method of using European Post Codes as they are totally different in their structure.

I wasn't getting any hits in the iPhone app.
HO, I'll double check. Nope. Empty screen.

I don't begrudge the <£7 annual subs. I was just checking on Post Code search limitations before handing over ££ (unemployed/semi retired since 05/02/2022 )

Just had a look at searchforsites I am not a subscriber but found if you just put in sg1 it all comes up.

Join the semi retired (since 2004).

Looking on S4S there is only one site in SG11 - Stone House Farm 5 van site.
