can members please recommend a sealant/adhesive for emergency use when travelling. i would prefer a smaller tube to avoid having to carry an application tool due to limited space.

I bought something like this in Germany a few years ago, no gun needed. Not sure if OK for your purpose.

Lidls are selling some small tubes of silicone which don't require a gun

I know we all carry stuff for the sake of having stuff with us. But surely if running repairs are needed there are shops selling sealants and adhesives in most places in Europe/UK.
Having said that no doubt if I look in one of the boxes under the seats there is probably a tube of glue or similar.

Most (all?) sealants have fairly short in-tube shelf life. Would it not be better simply to buy some as or when you actually needed it? All over mainland Europe there are gazillions of B&Q style DIY stores and smaller hardware shops.
