Hi
This is a double-barreled thread regards hobbies and their connection to our Campervan.
Aileen, my wife makes amazing Jewellery from Sea Glass and Sea Pottery. We go to beaches
on the East Coast of Scotland, well we did until lockdown and spend the day looking for unique
pieces that can be transformed by Aileen. Her ETSY shop is - https://www.etsy.com/shop/AlamerCreations

Our other hobby is blogging. Mostly about our camping adventures and we find this to be a great way of keeping
our memories - www.ontheway.scot

I have started a group here in Motorhomefun with the subject as blogging. Anyone who is interested or indeed does
it already, please join - it's a bit lonely at the moment.
All the best
Tom

Beautiful jewellery!

I have been collecting sea glass for many years but it's just sitting in a big box. There is also a lot of pottery in the river nearby, washed down from the old Coalport factory which I pick up when I am out for a walk.

I really should get me arse into gear and do something spectacular with it now I have a Dremel ?

How does Aileen find the etsy shop, I have stayed away from it because I find the site itself a pain to navigate if your looking for something in particular, the only benefit I can imagine would be useful is the ability to be able to give people a direct link to your shop.

Can any of you slice a horse tooth?

I've had a back tooth of my long gone horse for about 40 years and I'd love to have it put on a chord. But it would need to be sliced or shaved, to make it comfortable.

When the other half has finished his siesta I'll post a piccie.

Yes it could and I can understand why you would want that done, I know only to well how chunky a horse tooth is.

Re Etsy. Aileen finds it ok but costly re the fees is a bit much. She has her own website but as no reviews yet, it's been slow. Hopefully it'll pick up and she can drop Etsy
?
