Hi all,
What an amazing trip we had, Hawick overnight & a very warm welcome from Marjorie who insists we must visit again ( she said they are putting in a sluice area very soon just for us MOHO's) , Kelpies & wheel - overnight in a layby near Oban, a couple of nights on Skye then home. Runrig - The Last Dance blasting out accompanying us on our stunning bimble around the Highlands. Can't say how much we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Marjorie does work incredibly hard at welcoming the Motorhomers to Hawick! Glad you enjoyed the trip! We hope to be out again in the next 48 hours, just need a wee bit of time to tidy up a couple of minor maintenance issues on Brunhilde, give her a bug removal wash and replenish supplies!

Glad you enjoyed Scotland trip and our favourite band Runrig. We're enjoying Somerset at the moment home to Scotland Sunday.

We are planning a trip over to D&G, Arran and Kintyre - hoping to leave next week :) just hope the forecast is good.

Thinking of doing similar what did it cost please.

Hawick Common Haugh Car Park [where sluice and fresh water supply are being installed] are free for 48 hours stay at the moment. I believe that there may be a £5 token system introduced when the works are completed. irnbru has much more knowledge of the fine detail [sorry Sandra!] and can give 'chapter & verse'.

Think the Kelpies parking is £5 per night.
