Dragging this thread back to the fore for some advice.

Would those that have done the NC500 consider 3 weeks enough time to do it justice?

Yes, but depends on how far off the road you wander and how long you like to stop at a site. We did it last year and took 10 days to go round although a bit rushed in places and we missed out Applecross section but added trips round to Altandhu and Kinlochbervie as not been before. Would like to go again, but have discovered the joys of France so inner arguments are raging

We have been doing this for 20 years and still keep finding new places. Over the last three years we spend up to twelve weeks each year there.
