hi there everyone

i have a scooter rack for my swift sundance 590rs. an engineering friend made it for me last year. after a years use i find it is not very stable, ie with the bike on. ( 125cc weighs 95kg ) he made it with a lever / rachet system so it has only one channel which tilts downwards on release of the channel. it attaches to the tow bar.

i am thinking of getting another one---this time with a "ramp" system, still with a bolt on to the tow bar-- anyone got any recommendations please, not more than say £300 !!!

cheers!!

I would not get one from Hedleys at Durham mine was a nightmare had to cut the bar you tie the bike to of just to get scooter on and the ramp was 3ft you had to find a big kerb are carry a few bricks to load scooter. Got it sorted but it has rusted and it is completely rubbish

Try Armitages tow bars at Ferry bridge they specialise in that sort of thing, just had a tow bar and rear protection bar fitted by the. Would recommend them they do a good job at a reasonable price.
