We have a Sunseeker RV and want to pop our scooter on the back, we need to get European insurance for 365 for this. Does anyone know a company that will cover this, as all the ones I have tried are saying a maximum of 90 days a year?

The GoCompare.com web site states "21% offered 365 days of free European cover". Maybe worth getting quotes from them.

None of them actually offered 365! been on the phone all day... we tried Carol Nash and they're the best so far... 90 days at fully Comp followed by the lowest possible cover required by the country you're in for the remainder of the year... :/

just about every one i know that travels alot just runs on the minim,um in each country.
every policy taken out in the eu gives that for the full term of the insurance .
many insurance brokers seem to think they dont . but maybe you will find one that will give full cover.
saga were on about covering m,bikes ,but i dont insure with them these days . might be worth a call.

The majority of those insurers offering 365 day cover don't, not on a continuous basis anyway.
They will impose a time limit per trip, usually 90 days, and you would need a ferry back here then out again next day which begins your next 90 day visit.
What they mean by 365 is unlimited trips with a time limit on each trip.
Some insurers may restrict you to one or two trips per year.

but minimum cover is always available for the policey only time limit is the end of your insurance .
and some dont give a time limmit . at all.
when questioned i have been told come home for one day in the year . as they dont cover fulltimers but cant limit how long you go on holiday.
care as to be taken in choosing who you insure with.

If you have a base from which you are operating within Europe and out of the UK for over 6months the vehicle should be registered in the base country. If you are constantly wandering that's another issue. Looks like another grey area for a long thread!
