I have a Schaudt ebl on our Hymer as standard fit this has a temperature sensor connected to one of the two batteries, I have since fitted a LRM1218 solar reg that also comes with a temp sensor Question is do I fit the second sensor for the LRM1218 or would this work against the one fitted to the ebl ?

I have read the instructions but no mention of using two.

Well, they both need to know if the battery is over heating, so you have to put both on the battery.

What battery type do you have?

2x160ah gel
I thought that may be the case as one is ebl mains charger and the other for solar so I sent an email to a and a caravan services and they have confirmed use both.

Since connecting the temp sensor for the Lrm1218 it is the first time I have seen charging voltage like this, it has in the past been max 13.3v on solar.
