I am takin g my 11 year old Grandson to Europe in the Motorhome in July/August on a tour of the scariest roller coasters we can find - I currently have a list of 18 at various parks in Belgium (Plopsaland), France (Parc Asterix and Nigloland - not doing Disney), Germany (Europa Park) and Switzerland (Gelmerbahn)

Anyone got any they can think of to add to this list (or substitute)?

My kids, including my middle one who loves extreme rollercoasters and was 11 at the time, thoroughly enjoyed Tripsdrill in Germany - located just north of Stuttgart. You can stay overnight for free in a field on their grounds, no facilities but has a nice view and loads of space!

Stuttgart has the Porsche and Mercedes museums if he's into cars.

Will take a look at Trispsdrill - see whether we can fit it in. Thanks

Tripsdrill looks perfect - will slot it into the itinerary as it is less than 2 hours from Europa Park and near Kqrlsruhe where we have somewhere we can stay with friends

Does anyone know if you can stay overnight in your motorhome at Parc Asterix, Tripsdrill, Plopsaland, Europa Park or Nigloland? Saves driving off to a Stellplatz or Are

Nigloland has a great Aire.we stayed there last summer.

Grand National in Blackpool !
Scariest you bet, built in 1935 out of wood! Now 2019, That’s Scary:D

Tripsdrill yes, as above - they have a field above the park about half a mile from the entrance. No facilities when we were there in 2016 but loads of space, very quiet despite there being at least 20 vans there that night. Looks like they might have some facilities now.

the wooden one at europark will take some beating most exhilarating thing ive been on for a long while

We spent a GREAT day at PhantasiaLand near Cologne

Europa Park has camping facilities. Excellent place and definitely one of our favourite theme parks. It also serves as a handy overnight staging post for those looking for a safe stopover when travelling further south...or onward home north!

It's a classic and scarier in some ways than the old Big One, as being wood you feel it move and sway in places.

Yes the site at Europa Park is great for camper vans, we were there last year and not too expensive.

The Silver Star ride at Europa Park is very good as in the Blue Fire (gas driven).

The Imst Alpine Coaster looks good.

In the Netherlands
https://www.walibi.nl/en (formerly Six Flags) possibly not 'the scariest' but certainly enough different roller coasters to leave the keenest reveller satisfied.
Although not a roller coaster, the Mad Mill at https://www.duinrell.com/amusement-park is an unforgettable experience...
Duinrell also has camping and one of the best waterparks in Europe (y)

Visite Europa park about 8 years ago and loved it, if my memory serves me correct they had an F1 roller coaster there that was pretty good.

We didn't stay at the camping so can't comment.

We also visited the park at lake Garda and they had this roller coaster that went really slow and hung you upside down, not fast but scary :)
