I wouldn't even bother coming to Scarborough.....the council have made it plain motorhomes aren't welcome after 5pm.
Whitby and Filey also fall under the Scarborough council umbrella.

Was there about a month ago and there were plenty of others too (20+ vans). We have been going to the Sea Life centre several times a year for the past 10 years and to be honest it's got significantly busier this past year or so.

Many arrive post 6pm and depart around 8am, obviously to avoid the parking charges. We take up a coach space so pay the required £10 fee for 24 hours and the ticket is transferable throughout the borough.

We stayed there week last Saturday no problems about 10 vans there. Free between 6pm and 9am most had gone by 9am can stay during day but you need to pay parking charges. Only place in Scarborough were you can park really now couple of spots on marine drive were they have not put boulders to stop motorhome overhang but no overnighting signs.

Day time parking?. Are there any spaces that will take 7.4M Now?. Most of the "Parallel" parking seems to be divided into specific bays.? Are you allowed to pay for 2?, anyone Know?.

Having to take and use the Mobilty Scoot, I dont want to be too far from the centre?.

Can you park a M-H down by the Old Spa? any one know.?

Regrettably, I believe they will direct you to one of the the coach parking areas where you are expected to pay the coach rate of £10 for 24 hours.

Alternatively, you might be able to get a spot under the Viaduct if you get there early.
