Not enough!
Hi, my travels have brought me to the lovely shores of north beach Scarborough, it's more like Miami in the sun with joggers, dog walkers and the general very pleasant beach seen.

I digress, does anyone know of a site that is open close by at the moment?

I need to get an early morning 7am surf in tomorrow to get the best tide so don't want to be miles away.

The tourist office lady said "no try Bridlington" ahh customer service with a smile, but surely one actually in Scarborough area must be open?

Help please!

are you in the same Scarborough as me ?

the suns out but its around 5degc and feels less in the wind.

Scarborough isnt in the slightest bit like Miami....even in summer :ROFLMAO:....except for all the old folks in gods waiting room (the esplanade)

you could try Scalby manor campsite....around 2 miles north of you on the A172.....into the dip then over Scalby beck bridge then next left onto Station road/field lane...just past Scalby manor hotel.

C&CC site but open to general public i think.

All sorted! Thankyou.

Thanks everyone, all sorted and made a note of all of these winter sites as I go for next time.

Is this what they mean by the north / south divide - it's been raining non stop in Devon for 2 days and it's been lovely sunny, crisp days in North Yorkshire.

The joy of being on the road, if you don't like the weather, move on!

Thanks everyone.
