I have most motorhome apps for sites and night stops etc but open to any suggestions from all you happy funsters
about what’s best and where etc ? And any site seeing along the way

We're doing a similar trip for 2 1/2 weeks in May.

Rather than the Øresund bridge, consider travelling up from Copenhagen to Helsingør and taking the very short ferry trip across to Helsingborg. Some interesting places to visit on that route as well.

Last time we went we stopped for a few days in Lidköping - mainly for the lake swimming in the area - but were pleasantly surprised to have the Power Big Meet taking place. Great bands, seriously impressive American iron everywhere, and a really good atmosphere. July 6-8th this year and AFAIK free.

We're sort of planning returning to Norway around then too, a good part of which got missed on our Scandi trip in 2016. We went all the way up to Nordkapp, via Finland (Santa Claus at Rovaniemi!!!) but it's a long, long drive - best advice is go north in Sweden and south in Norway. Had to cut it short due to problems with the van. See our Blog here.
Refillable gas is available but it's wise to plan your route via filling points as there are not all that many. Stay clear of calm wooded sites near water - the mozzies are like Spitfires!

We dipped our toes in to Scandinavia a few years back and plan to do a longer trip when we have more time, possibly next year after early retirement.

We drove to Travemunde and got the ferry across to Sweden, we then used the train from Malmo to visit Copenhagen.

We found the book from this company invaluable, https://camperstop.com/en/destinations/sweden. I think they will probably have an APP version now as it was 9 years ago we visited. We stayed in some stunning locations from Boat yards to private airfields that we'd never have found without their book.

Yes, they are a nightmare so prepare your MH with good well fitting insect nets on doors and windows and take some long sleeved, long legged clothing and of course repellant. Stockholm is worth a few days visit and mozzie free!
June is midsummer, school holidays and festivities.
