Scam Sales

Just to make people aware that there are currently a lot of scam motorhomes listed for sale on a well known auction site! Be careful

all over eBay (the worst). Auto trader, gumtree etc .

Been going on for years.
They're quite easy to spot as it's either a seller with no feedback or one who has dozens of other vehicles if you look at 'Seller's Other Items' or is based in the Orkneys or the Highlands or working abroad or on an oil rig etc. making viewing difficult so asking for a holding deposit due to the considerable interest.

Yes ,must be very difficult viewing a motorhome on an oil rig.

One photo of a van and one photo of an email contact address for more details is another common sign.

Yep, that seller has 10 pages of vehicles; m/h's, cars, military vehicles, motorbikes, boats, tractors, HGV's....................

And what did I say in post #3...............?

His advert says: 'This is adevertised for a fella that resised away'.

I think he means 'resides away'
