Thanks for posting, it’s amazing what levels these scumbags will stoop too and get cash from honest folk.

My elderly neighbour has just been caught with the NHS scam. You know the one, text message or email stating that you’ve been pinged as being in an area reported to have had Covid. Put credit card details in here, only for 99p to cover postage.

Luckily we got her to the bank and stopped credit card etc, but what a pollyarver

The lack of full stops in some sentences is a bit of a clue . . . There's also a couple of other grammatical errors starting at the top "You are eligible for energy bill rebate" should read "You are eligible for an energy bill rebate" and so on. Always pays to read these things carefully . . .

Received the same yesterday and yes it’s a scam. The domain was only registered two days ago so beware.

Just had a call from 07477931380, a message told me I had discrepancies in my tax and that I may have committed a criminal offence. They wanted me to press 1 and speak to an HMRC officer. Beware, I just hung up

I got a email from Scottish power telling me my account had defaulted and I must up date my bank details.
Only thing is I have never had a Scottish power account in 20 years.
Not long after I got one HSBC telling me that I should update a standing order to Scottish power.
I am and never have been with HSBC
