I may have lost the plot here, Spanish sun is my excuse, I think I've said yes to hog roast once but I'll say it again just in case.

I'm not complaining but 200 * 5 = £1000 seems a good price for a pig.

It's a golden pig.

We only just have a 100 going so we have had to lose the extras eg salad to keep the cost down but you still get the buffet at night. Most charge £6 - £6-50p for less then 120 people.

Not complaints, that is really cheap for even poor food.

Thanks for the offer but it is all sorted now and I am really excited about this rally, we have
125 for the Hog roast now and the Butcher was so helpful. They are also giving us 2 bar-b-q fresh meat packs, he is also asking few other local business to try and donate for the raffle and is also now involved with some of the buffet.
So all in all I have had a good day

I've never seen the sea at Southport. It's officially designated an airfield as we witnessed at the last airshow.

We saw the sea last weekend and a lot of wet sandy muddy dogs and no cars on the beach. The seafront was really busy and it felt like Summer

I know the people that are not having the Hog roast will be having the buffet and music so you do not have to put your names down, but Thanks anyway x

The Southport Lifeboat is all self funded and if any of you arrive on the Thursday night you will meet some of the lads and girls.

Saturday we have the music booked and we were thinking of a buffet all for £6 but we have now had
A HOG ROAST COMPANY COME BACK TO US and after Lorens Charm (and arm breaking tactics) they will do Hog roast baps, apple sauce, salad and potatoes ( and a cheese pie/quiche for the vegetarians )
based on 200 people it will cost you another £5 each.
So the cost now would be £27 for a 3 night pitch and £11 per person for the Saturday night.
Thoughts and names down ASAP so we can book this.

The rally rate is £9 a night for Fri Sat and Sun BUT if anyone turns up before then they pay £10 a night. I will be there on the Thurs to set up.

Can confirm that rare event...the tide came in at Southport...right up to the concrete flood wall...must've scared a few folk.
