SATFI DOME

satfi dome is not picking up anything , I switch on tv then satfi dome does it's searching as per normal then stops but nothing on screen , anyone else have one fitted and had same issue .

In the. Middle of works car park no buildings near me or trees yes clear site

Assuming it's searching and finding the satellite could it be the signal cable is not making a good connection to the dome or the receiver?
Worth checking first.

You have got the TV set to the correct input, something like SAT, and not TV (which will be terrestrial TV), USB, etc?

I have a satfi unit, but I haven’t had anything like that. The only issue I’ve had is after Sat locks on I get no signal message, but that is normally down to cable issues or not being on the correct tv input. Never just nothing. Is this a recent fault or after a long time?

No reset button just unplugged everything and tried again just the same can't get onto satfi site to ask them

Tried there site again I just get a black screen with some options it's locked and won't let me move through the options , must be my iPad

Just a wee update on the satfi dome , managed to get in touch with sat fit technical , who were very good ,after explaining what was happening he said the dome is searching and is finding channels he could see this with the screen shot I sent of the units screen , I eventually got in touch with avtex who also were very good , they said issue was with tv that some channels have been moved around by tv companies and tv had just lost there bearings , he sent through a document to load onto USB and instructions how to reset channels with the USB connected to tv , and it now all works superb , so thanks to satfi and avtex . Grandson is happy he can follow his fav football team if we are away now .
