Good morning
I have a satfi dome on my motorhome, it is automatic search but when searching it does not lock onto any satellite. Can anyone please advise on what the problem is?
Thanks in advance

If you can give the make and model someone may be able to help. I assume this is for TV?

your 'control' unit may need reprogramming - dependant on model its either a diy job or send it away/visit someone to reprogramme. have you spoken to satfi themselves?

there are some older systems that cant be reprogrammed, but there are a couple of funsters who have managed to get a work around this by switching satellites after searching.

do some searching on the forum and you should find them

Satellite settings change quite often most of the modern systems update from the sat signal automatically. Older ones you need to do it manually and often need to update the firmware as MisterB says the older ones often can't be updated.

C A Clase sell them as Satfi in the UK they are made in Turkey a Company called Neta

C A Clase can update it

apparently you install them aswell LOL

We stopped selling domes ages ago

We have "Virtually" stopped selling conventional satellites now that we all watch everything "on demand" and "on line"

had this trouble on mine, after a year I found the rep from Clase, and an agent at a show, he said it was the aerial, one of the LNB units had gone awol. I bought another one off him, fitted it and all is fine now. Mine was the twin LCB UK model. Straight change one out and the new one in. It was driving me mad as the other /LNB was only getting Sky news. The actual dish would search and search never locking on as it needs the signal to home in on.
