Just to clarify, the tv sound is played through the radio I’ve tried to alter the wavelength but can’t

Does your remote for the TV / Sat have a quick setup menu? If it does, follow the instructions and you should arrive at a satellite selection page. Select a satellite type then, once selected, look down that page and you should see "tune", select that and enter ok. Your system should then retune ( may take a while as it hunts for channels).

Sorry for the late reply, was travelling today. Nope, as I had assumed that the retune would focus the sat dish on the correct frequencies. The only other thought would be you may be near a powerful transmitting source that is swamping the audio channel sat signal.

Do you have a "standard" TV ariel in the van? Have you tried that to see if you have the same issues?

Thats a good call!, the site manager told me that this area has one of the best (strongest) signals in the UK for TV/Radio so we'll see what happens when we move up country on Friday, thanks for that and no I don't have an Ariel

Your TV is transmitting the audio on a VHF frequency that your Moho radio is tuned to, it should be possible to change the transmission freq in the TV to a different (clear) freq and then tune the Moho radio to the new freq.

Good afternoon all,

Firstly thanks to AndyPK for the heads up on this.
Right, it sounds to me as though the vehicle uses surround sound through the radio head unit. Most likely is that the Radio is set to the wrong source so even though you have the pictures on the TV your still hearing what's playing on the radio. If this is the case then it would simply be a case of changing the source on the stereo head unit so that the radio then plays the sound from the TV station instead however there are so many I wouldn't really know where to start in regards to doing that.
I've never heard of a radio station taking over audio from a satellite channel as they are on completely different bandwidths however I'm no expert on this so I cannot be 100% sure it's not the case.

Unfortunately, due to there obviously being a few different electronic devices in play here that I'm not overly familiar with I would really need to see the installation in order to offer a definitive diagnosis and hopefully a solution.

Can you not just turn the Bluetooth off and play the sound through the TV?

On my Avtes there is just an FM transmitter built into the TV (not tried it though)..

On our van the TV sound is played through the Pioneer Radio which has to be set to AUX 2. Sometimes it loses this setting and AUX 2 has to be added back through the system menu. Could this type of thing have happened on your set up? But we can bypass the radio by pulling the jack lead out of the TV and then get the original sound.
