Currently in the Swiss Alps and thought I would give the tv a go.

Perfect picture on QVC and Sky news but that's it. Tried turning off and on again which used to work before i had the software update but that wont do the trick now. Dish is a KVH dome. Worked fine in France last night.

Fancied watching a bit of footie this evening but looks like it may be handbags and make up on the shopping channel :cry:

Anyone think of a quick fix?

100% certain you are pointing at the correct satellite ?

If so try a rescan

High altitude may also have an effect on coordinates....higher you go the upward angle becomes less

If you are getting Sky News (UK) and QVC ok then you are on the right satellite.

More than likely your dish is too small for where you are to receive the other channels.

The signals from the new satellite can drop off steeply on the fringe areas...

You could try the local terrestrial channels (French swiss or german), or move the dish to astra 1 at 19 east for german channels (showing WC matches)

good luck maybe bad connection on your cable ends possible lnb fault or simply not strong enough signal or dish size..
